Its been a while when INDIAN government announces the ban on 118 apps including the famous multiplayer game , PUBG mobile. Due to this a large number of gaming community got distress and appealing to the goverment to uplift ban. well , we have some good news from the original company PUBG corporation, they went out with an official statement .
According to PUBG corp, they are already aware of the situation and looking for the solutions to uplift it because they have huge community to look around in INDIA. They already confirmed that all operations will only be done by the parent company under, Bluehole. Not by TENCENT INDIA.
soon we can see unbanned from the game and gamer community already had the news of it , that means all the responsibility will be taken care of from the original south korean based company. It is reported that after a ban of PUBG in INDIA , TENCENT lost around $34 billion in terms of market value, that is a huge amount.
INDIAN government banned the app on the grounds that the app is a threat to national sovereignty and integrity. Despite having tension between INDIA and CHINA . INDIAN government banned the app on third round of blockades due to national concern and its privacy policy .
The official blog noted ;
“PUBG Corporation fully understands and respects the measures taken by the government as the privacy and security of player data is a top priority for the company. It hopes to work hand-in-hand with the Indian government to find a solution that will allow gamers to once again drop into the battlegrounds while being fully compliant with Indian laws and regulations,”.
“The company explores ways to provide its own PUBG experience for India in the near future, it is committed to doing so by sustaining a localised and healthy gameplay environment for its fans.”
The statement reiterated: “PUBG MOBILE is the mobile version of PLAYERUNKNOWN’S BATTLEGROUNDS (PUBG), an intellectual property owned and developed by PUBG Corporation, a South Korean gaming company. The company is actively engaged in developing and publishing PUBG on multiple platforms, including PUBG MOBILE in select territories, to provide the best player experiences possible.”
“It has seen an overwhelming amount of support for the game from the country’s player base and would like to thank the community for their passion and enthusiasm,” PUBG noted.
