Fateh Sagar Lake
Fateh Sagar Lake is the one of most beautiful and major lakes in the City. This lake is Artificaly constructed by Maharana in north of Lake Pichola in 1678 and to the north-west of Udaipur. A beautiful lake, overlooked by a number of hills on the three sides and the Pratap Memorial on the north was built by Maharana Fateh Singh. In the middle of the lake is Nehru Park – a lovely garden island with a boat shaped cafe accessible by an enjoyable boat ride. Blue waters of the lake and the backdrop of green has given the soubriquet of ‘the second Kashmir’ to Udaipur.

2. Pichola Lake
Pichola Lake is one of the most beautiful and picturesque lakes of Rajasthan, India. Located in the heart of the city, Pichola Lake is the oldest and one of the largest lakes of Udaipur. In 1362, the beautiful lake was built by Pichhu Banjara during the ruling period of Maharana Lakha. Talking about the dimensions of Pichhola Lake, it is extended to 3 miles in length, 2 miles in width and has depth of 30 feet.

3. Swaroopsagar Lake
Swaroop Sagar, also known as Kumhariya Talab, serves as the connecting water body between Lake Fateh Sagar and Lake Pichola. It was build to avoid flood like situation and maintain high water level in the adjoining lakes. Almost all the lakes in and around city are manmade and were build by the ruler’s of Mewar with a sole view of conservation of water. One such lake, located within the city area, is Swaroop Sagar lake build by Maharana Swaroop Singh (1842-1861).

4. Rangsagar
Rang Sagar Lake is one among the small lake that connects Swaroop Sagar Lake and Pichola Lake. This is an artificially constructed Lake made up of freshwater.
This Lake was built in 1668 by the great Amar Singh Badawa. This Lake is also called by the name of Amarkunt. The length of this Lake is 250 m in width and more than 1 km in length attracting thousands of visitors because of its scenic beauty of its surroundings. This Lake has undergone much rehabilitation work and turned out to be the most promising tourist destination. This Lake is not an isolated Lake. It is connected with much more beautiful Pichola Lake. People who visit Pichola Lake also travel to Rang Sagar Lake to enjoy its scenic beauty.

5. Doodh Talai Lake
Dudh Talai Lake is a dainty lake at the epicenter of the Udaipur. Encompassed by the marvelous hillocks all around, this lake holds out venturing activities of camel and horse ride. Besides, the beautiful garden of Manikya Lal Verma owing its origin back to the year of 1995 enriches the beauty of Doodh Talai along sides offering the marvelous view of the serene Pichola and the lake of Doodh Talai.
