A male lion’s death during a pride takeover ranks among the most brutal in the animal world. He’ll fight to the death to protect his family—like a true king defending his kingdom.

So a male lion receives a lot of respect in their prime, they are the first one to eat the meal. Male lions rarely hunt, they generally come into the picture while taking down large preys like elephants, giraffes, rhinos, hippos.

Knowing all this, it’s clear why lions earn the title King of the Jungle. Being a king isn’t just about strength, courage, or dominance—it’s about commanding respect and embodying leadership in the wild.
