History: Named after Sufi saints Jamali and Kamali, built in the 16th-century is a striking example of Indo-Islamic architecture. Yes the architecture is good but not vibe. There are graves side by side which gives distinct indication that they were lovers.
Haunting: Visitors experienced shadows coming out of nowhere, sounds of inexplicable whispers and voices. Sudden decrease in temperature and cold breeze from nowhere experienced by visitors. Some also felt an invisible force pushing them. It’s a favorite among paranormal investigators in Delhi.
5. Khooni Darwaza – The Bloody Gate
Location: Near Delhi Gate, Bahadur Shah Zafar Marg
History: This place has seen the most violent period, I am mentioning about the Mughal era. Once called the Lal Darwaza, this gate renamed after British soldiers murdered Bahadur Shah Zafar’s sons here in 1857.

History: Built in the 14th century by Feroz Shah Tughlaq as a hunting lodge, it now lies in ruins.

7. Lothian Cemetery – Echoes from the Grave
Location: Near Kashmere Gate
History: This is one of the oldest Christian cemeteries in Delhi, dating back to the British era. The Lothian Cemetery, which has stood since the 18th century, is a haunting reminder of the bloodshed that has transpired in Delhi.

History: Built by Feroz Shah Tughlaq in the 14th century, the fort has ruins that are now believed to be occupied by djinns. Feroz Shah Kotla Fort stands as one of Delhi’s most creepy landmarks, with its walls etched in tales of tragedy and forgotten souls.
Haunting: Every Thursday, locals offer milk, letters, light candles and incense, to these unseen entities in hope of getting their wishes fulfilled. Strange smells, cold breezes, whispering voices and what not experience by people passing by.
9. Mutiny House & Nicholson’s Cemetery – Ghosts of the Revolt
Location: Near Kashmere Gate
History: A haunting reminder of the most upsetting moments of the Indian Rebellion of 1857, Mutiny House is one of the several.
This place holds the most upsetting moments and the horror of the Indian Rebellion of 1857. Mutiny House comes from historical sites in the area.
Haunting: Once left abandoned it is known for unexplained noises, lights flickering and ghostly apparitions. People living nearby reported sobbing, screaming and sounds of music coming from the house.
10. Chor Minar – Execution Tower of Delhi
Location: Hauz Khas, South Delhi
History: As the name derives, Chor Minar means “Tower of Thieves”. A 13th-century structure constructed during the reign of Alauddin Khalji.
