Closest railway station is Murkongselek Railway Station in Assam, around 330 km from Mechuka. 

By Road:

Mechuka is located in hilly terrain but don’t worry it’s well connected by road. You can reach Aalo by road from either Itanagar or Pasighat.

From Aalo, Mechuka is about 180 km away, which takes roughly 7 to 9 hours by drive. The total distance from Itanagar to Mechuka is around 500 km by road.

Dibrugarh to Mechuka distance is 450 to 500 km by road. Journey spans about 2 days due to varying road conditions. Better opt for a SUV or 4×4 vehicle. Easy to handle on mountainous roads.
