For now most cases in India are generally mild and not linked to any large-scale resurgence or mortality.

So far, Kerala leads the highest count with 69 cases, followed by Maharashtra 44 and Tamil Nadu 34. Several states like Karnataka, Gujarat, Sikkim, Rajasthan and Haryana reported fresh cases. Mumbai’s KEM hospital confirmed 2 deaths related to Covid-19, raising local concerns.
